I was delighted when this book was nominated. There are many great "I Love You" books, but this one is a keeper. Short, but cute text this book moves right along.Young toddlers will enjoy the reassuring tone. Yes, we do love your happy side AND your sad side. Confession: I bought this for our granddaughter and added a bit more hair to the main character with a sharpie pen to make it look more like her.
